Autistic Self Advocacy Network
The Autistic Self Advocacy Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by and for Autistic 人. ASAN was created to serve as a national grassroots disability rights organization for the Autistic 社区, and does so by advocating for systems change and ensuring that the voices of Autistic 人 are heard in policy debates and the halls of power while working to educate communities and improve public perceptions of autism. ASAN’s members and 支持ers include Autistic adults and youth, cross-disability advocates, and non-autistic family members, 专业人士, 教育者和朋友们. Be sure to see their published resources for college students!
Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network
The mission of Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network (AWN) is to provide 社区, 支持, and resources for Autistic women, 女孩, 非的人, and all others of marginalized genders.

Foundations for Divergent Minds
Foundations for Divergent Minds is a new way to think about how we 支持 autistic and neurodivergent 人. Building on principles of the Disability Rights Movement and the 神经的多样性模式, this model creates systems of accommodations and 支持s to enhance the quality of life of autistic and neurodivergent 人. The systems are based on five areas that create a foundation for greater autonomy and increased inclusion in the home, 社区, 和学校.
